Constantijn Huygens (1596-1687) was a true homo universals: as much poet as politique, he was also a perfumer. He created over 150 individual scents whose recipes have been hidden for centuries. " Ode de Parfum: To My Mother " is an hommage to his beloved mother. This 100% natural perfume was one of his favorite creations.
Delightful notes of rose petals, lavender, thyme, marjoram, water mint, cloves and cinnamon - all distilled together, at the same time. The talented nose Marypierre Julien was inspired by the result of this ancient and original manufacturing process. Its unique floral and spicy creation remains true to the original and offers a special insight into the history of the perfume.
This natural scented candle is a collaboration between HUYGENS Paris, the Huygens Institute for the History of the Netherlands, NL-LAB, de Jonge Akademie and Givaudan.

HOW TO USE
Light at least 3 hours per usage. Cut the wick regularly to avoid smoke. Total burning time: approx. 45 hours. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: never leave a burning candle unattended, keep out of reach of children and domestic animals, never move a burning candle, don’t leave a burning candle in an airstream or near inflammable objects, always make sure that the candle is on a stable and heat-resistant surface.
